Increase of productivity and efficiency of technical equipment and machines unavoidably raises segments’ and components’ wear. Therefore these heavy-duty and endangered surfaces must be protected by thermal spraying or altered in a way to withstand extraordinary strains. The general raw material shortage results in engine parts made of other raw materials being sufficiently available but which don’t meet the production’s requirements. These engine parts will get a suitable surface coating in order to protect the base material and meet the desired needs.
